she/her

Cassie grew up in a large, working-class family in Northern California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. She received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Environmental Studies in San Diego. Cassie brings with her almost a decade of labor, community and political organizing experience around racial, gender and economic justice through her work with organizations like the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties, PCUN Oregon and the Oregon AFL-CIO. She is excited to join the PPAO team and continue advancing the political power of working-class, BIPOC and immigrant communities in Oregon through the lens of reproductive justice. When she is not at work, you can find Cassie out climbing, on a hike with her dog or baking up a batch of cookies.

Lindsey began her work with PPAO as a 2017 Legislative Fellow, and is thrilled to develop her passion for community building and reproductive justice on the field team. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bennington College, where she studied Political Economics and Environmental Studies. Her previous experience as an activist and organizer focused on environmental advocacy, from marching in the 2014 People’s Climate March in New York City, to community art-builds in New Orleans. In her free time, Lindsey bikes around Portland, liberally adds books to her bedside reading stack and enjoys any opportunity to explore the outdoors.
